You want to establish a site to site VPN from a site with a Cisco ASA firewall, to another site running a Juniper SRX firewall. I had to do this this week, and struggled to find any good information to help. In the example below I’m configuring the whole thing from a laptop (172.16.254.206) that’s on the Juniper’s site. The last step involves configuring the on-premises VPN devices outside of Azure. This feature allows you to download a configuration script for your VPN device with the corresponding values of your Azure VPN gateway, virtual network, and on-premises network address prefixes, and VPN connection properties, etc. already filled in. Jun 30, 2017 · Route Based Site To Site IPSec VPN on Juniper: In this article I will show you how to configure route based site to site IPSec VPN on Juniper SRX series router. In our topology we have two SRX juniper routers and both devices have the interface ge-0/0/3.0 which are connected to internet. With a route based vpn you don't define proxies/interesting traffic you build a vti tunnel interface and configure with a /30, or /31 if you like. Next you just peer over the tunnel with whatever routing protocol you prefer. Juniper actually has a nice little tool to build configuration templates for you.
